Edward Filardi, Gaithersburg, Maryland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicparents.org\/examination-conscience-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Examination-of-Conscience-CatholicParentOnLine<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Order of Confession and Act of Contrition: <em>\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicparents.org\/preparing-children-sacrament-penance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Order-of-Confession<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a class we said the Act of Contrition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#eee3f3\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend&nbsp;Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin.&nbsp;&nbsp; Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(In class,&nbsp; we did a Works of Mercy relay race. Each team member wrote one of the works of mercy down on the board. Then he \/she would pass the marker on to his\/her teammate to write a work of mercy on the board. this would continue until all 7 of the works of mercy were on the board.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Corporal Works of Mercy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Feed the hungry;<\/li><li>Drink to the thirsty;<\/li><li>Clothe the naked;<\/li><li>Shelter the homeless;<\/li><li>Visit the sick;<\/li><li>Visit those in prison;<\/li><li>Bury the dead.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B5ETRkL51fhMazByR21ZeEU3VUk\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hand-out for corporal works of mercy<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spiritual Works of Mercy are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Teach the ignorant;<\/li><li>Help others do what is right;<\/li><li>Give advice to the doubtful;<\/li><li>Be patient with others;<\/li><li>Forgive injuries;<\/li><li>Comfort those who suffer;<\/li><li>Pray for the living and the dead.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B5ETRkL51fhMVmNmeU9qQ1VKbG8\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hand-out for spiritual works of mercy<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Below is a quiz.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
