Esau was a hunter and good cook, Jacob was a Shepherd of Sheep. Jacob inherited the land and rights of his father Isaac.<\/li><li>Jacob, (also known as \u201cIsrael\u201d), had 12 sons. They would be the 12 tribes of the nation Israel.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hickorytown.com\/ccd4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/12-Sons-of-Jacob.jpg\"><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah,&nbsp; Issachar, Zebulun, <\/em><em>Joseph, Benjamin, Dan, Asher<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Old Testament and the story of Joseph.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Joseph\u2019s brothers were jealous of him and did a horrible thing to Joseph.&nbsp; But, God used this misfortune to save the nation of Israel from starvation many years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a version of Joseph\u2019s story for children:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.topmarks.co.uk\/judaism\/joseph\/joseph.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/www.topmarks.co.uk\/judaism\/joseph\/joseph.htm<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have access to the <em>\u201cJoseph King of Dreams\u201d by Dreamworks (DVD),<\/em> we will be playing parts of the movie this week.
