Sermon on the Mount &#8211; The Beatitudes and the The Lord&#8217;s Prayer &#8212; they are about\u00a0 Doing God&#8217;s Will.<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 12 &#8211; &#8220;Blest Are We&#8221; p 141-147<\/p>\n<p>What do the Commandments Mean?<\/p>\n<p>Although the Protestant 10 Commandments are slightly different than the Catholic version, this is a good handout:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblewise.com\/kids\/fun\/what-do-commandments.php\" target=\"_blank\"> http:\/\/www.biblewise.com\/kids\/fun\/what-do-commandments.php<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Non-Catholic Christians are called Protestants.<\/p>\n<p>In the Catholic version of the Ten Commandments :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Catholic Commandment 1:\u00a0 I am the Lord your God, You shall not have other gods besides me.<em>\u00a0 Includes<\/em>\u00a0 (Protestant Commandment 2) Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image.<\/li>\n<li>Catholic Commandments 9 and 10 are combined together in the Protestant version:<br \/>\nYou shall not covet your neighbor&#8217;s wife.<br \/>\nYou shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Ten Commandments\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hickorytown.com\/photos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Ten-Commandments.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Ten-Commandments.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Continuing\u00a0 the February 3rd Lesson.
